3. Installation
----------------
If you are updating a previous version of CallStation, do not uninstall the old version. This would remove the configuration settings. Simply install this new version over the old one. Be sure the old version is not running when installing the new one, or you will need to restart
Windows to finish the installation.
First, extract the files to a temporary directory. You can delete this directory when setup has completed. Run Setup.exe and follow the instructions. Use one of these methods to run Setup.exe:
- Select Run from the Taskbar Start menu, type the full path
of the temporary directory followed by a backslash and the
name of the installation program (e.g., C:\TEMP\SETUP.EXE).
Press the ENTER key.
- Use My Computer or the Explorer to find the Setup.exe file.
Double-click the icon to run it.
To uninstall CallStation simply double-click "Add/Remove programs" in the control panel, select CallStation in the list, and click the "Add/Remove" button. The uninstall program will not remove any data files, temporary files, or wave files that were created by CallStation, so you will need to manually delete the CallStation directory and any files left in it.
